FOLIC ACID (Vitamin B9): Folic acid is a water-soluble vitamin that has an important role in the regulation of homocysteine. An increase in homocysteine levels, a consequence of an inadequate diet, could facilitate the deposit and calcification of lipids in the arteries, which would become more rigid. MABOlipid Plus provides the recommended daily amount of folic acid. BERBERIS ARISTATA e.s: Berberine is an alkaloid obtained from the dry extract of the Berberis aristata root that favors the regulation of blood levels of triglycerides. POLICOSANOL: Policosanol is a natural mixture of long chain alcohols extracted from waxy plants such as sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum). RED RICE: Red rice yeast is obtained from the fermentation of rice with a strain called (Monascus purpureus). COENZYME Q10: Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant naturally present in our body that helps protect against free radical damage, in addition to playing a key role in the production of cellular energy. ASTAXANTHIN: Astaxanthin is a carotenoid substance that comes from the alga Haematococcus plucvialis and that could have associated antioxidant properties.
